Woodson's Week 8 plays

The last two weeks have been profitable in college foots. I have been sticking to a few plays a week. Two weeks ago in was Alabama and Mich. St. This last week consisted of several teasers anchored with the Georgia, proving that even I can look like a genius once a year. Virginia Tech didn't come through but Wyoming and BC both able to cover the spread. I ws at a poker game mid Saturday to Sunday morning, so wasn't able to make updates. On to this week...

Two games that I like early are the following:

UL Lafayette -3
TCU -1

TCU will only go up as the week goes by. The UL of L play is based on AR system play.

I agree on the TCU play.. I would watch though as the week goes on if this doesn't move then I might think about BYU. Still I think TCU is the play.

ARe you not an Auburn fan? I know Auburn is not playing good football right now, and LSU tease looks great to me..... But what if they tweak the offense....This could be a blow out LSU of course if they can score.....:142smilie But also it could be like the TENN game.... I am an Auburn fan as well as grad. But I must say, the ack of a bounce back factor last week with Kentucky showed that this team needs leadership from within and while I would love nothing more than a WIN Saturday night, my paper says Auburn might have a little difficulty.

But hell, I'd pay that amount for a guaranteed W for Auburn! :00hour

I haven't been home on Sundays to play anything in quite some time now. Think my last play was Monday night football?

Ga Tech -6
This is their game to lose and I don't see it happening. Josh Nesbitt's playing ability is key. Virginia recently moved back to the traditional game and away from the spread. Let down after beating V. Tech? I don't think the Jackets head coach is happy until its an ACC title.

Vanderbilt UNDER 42
Played it last week and really like it here as well. Vandy's offense is atrocious and they are on the road. South Carolina will have this game under control early and I don't see much except for field goals from Vandy.

Alabama -14 (buy down if you must)
This is going to really burst the Vol bubble. After whipping Georgia, it might have been a bad thing because the Vols have not played a defense like this one and it will show. 3 and outs couple with time of possession by Alabama, the Tennessee defense will tire and the celebration in T-town will begin late 3rd quarter. 4th quarter ROLL! Second Half play is a strong possibility.

TCU -1
The line has moved in my favor but I'm getting mixed feeling on this early play. TCU always is one to tease us gamblers but my TCU buddy is saying the real deal and I haven't been done wrong by them yet.. cringe... The play of quarterback Andy Dalton and defensive linebacker Jerry Hughes will decide if this is the year for TCU's 12-0 run. Must win game...

Boston College +7'
I love this game. The only issue is they play at ND. I'm looking for Weiss to be outcoached by ACC's Frank Spaziani. He has turned this club around this year.
