Kentucky stopped a major skid last night, previously dropping their last 5. NIT acceptance has been stated by UK and LSU comes in well rested. I would feel better if the line was -4 or -5 for LSU as -1 is begging for LSU money but I'll bite.

Four units is a big play for me. LSU is the more solid team.

That being said, if Jodie Meeks shows up and has a great game I'll have egg on my face.

It's gambling and I didn't have a good feel on the early games so double stacked my play on LSU. (2 Units would be the norm)

Best of luck to you!

3 Seconds,

thanks for bringing this to my attention... plenty of games today, and going to play 2 Units on LSU. Money management... home run would be nice but no reason with all the games this afternoon.

EG,

I like LSU to win but honestly conference play is a weakness of mine. Looking at the more solid team its LSU... the whole must win factor eludes me during this time... I'll probably wind up coattailing the remainder of the way if LSU struggles.

Off to our first premarital counseling session... Hopefully she doesn't bring up MadJack Sports... :142smilie

theres obviously several key factors that go into capping these games in the tourney. You are absolutely right that LSU is the better team no disagreement there. I don't put much stock into the "must" win situations either however one thing I do like is the team that played 1 game to the team that hasn't played yet. IMO fatigue isn't a factor until the team has played 1, 2 , 3 days straight and are going up against a fresh team. Kentucky should have some momentum from yesterdays win and also a "hotter" hand as opposed to LSU who has been sitting for 6 days. My thought here is KENTKY could jump out early and if they can maintain it could be a long day for LSU. Also, the line is very "fishy" (as a friend of mine always says) with vegas looking for $ on LSU. Just my 2 cents here! GL

Chris Johnson needs to play tough for LSU to win today, but the key for LSU is PG Spencer's health. Without him near 100%, LSU will struggle on both sides. LSU has misled several times this season when it comes to injuries, so I am not surprised that his potential health concerns are not out in the open. I'm hoping the week off helped.

Heading to the bar now for LSU/Kentucky. GL today:toast:

I'll take it.

My half time bets and totals remain suspect but I'm a solid 3-0 on complete sides this week!

Let's see if we can find another one!

The counseling session was interesting to say the least... :scared

Tennessee had nothing to play for last Sunday when they lost to Alabama.

They step up tonight but I'm looking for the back door cover.

Alabama +8 for 1 UNIT

ALabama playing about right... still think a back door cover is possible...

Adding SDST and W. Virginia!

Best of luck!
