The week's system plays at a glance: 70%

|Sun 1-1 | Sat 9-2 | Fri 0-0 | Thur 1-1 | Wed 1-1 | Tues 0-0

Monday's Plays

Citadel -6
Look for Citadel to bounce back from Saturday's loss to Wofford. This team has the makings to tie the best in history at The Citadel and be the first ever to make it to the coveted Dance. Georgia Southern is allowing 47% shooting and being outscored by 14. The Citadel beat them by 9 earlier in the year and this looks to be a repeat if not by more.

The Citadel -6 2 UNITS

Davidson -14
Davidson is out rebounding the ball offensively at a +10 margin (last 5 games) which will allow for more second chance points. Elon defensively is allowing 47% fg shooting. The only reason for a no system play at this point is it's a road game for Davidson and points fall close to the current line of 14.

Davidson -14 1/2 UNIT

what do you think about Davidson 1st hf? Is it possible they will come out of the gate strong looking to be up by 10 at half?

Let me look at first half totals and similar games and how they played out...

Davidson is avg 38.6 points first half while allowing 31.2

Elon is avg 29.4 and giving up 32.2...

Last 3 - Davidson 38 away
Last 3 - Elon 35.5 at home

I'll update this after my meetings today, but do not see half time lines at my book...

Woodson.....love the work you contribute this site.

Just had a question however....your record stated 1-1 on Sunday, but your final plays listed a record of 4-7 yesterday.

You mentioned Official Plays went 1-1, however nowhere in your thread yesterday was there a mention about "Official" Plays.

Final
N. Colorado -5 WINNER
Louisville OVER 74 2H LOSER!
Rider -6 LOSER!
Florida -2 1H LOSER!
Florida/Tennessee OVER 155.5 LOSER
Florida -6 2H WINNER - Won back 1H and ML Parlay
Florida U83 2H Chance for a much needed middle. WINNER Nulled the Over 155 loss

Playing
Massachusetts ML +190 LOSER
Maryland ML +165 WINNER
Michigan State/Illinois Under 122 Pick of the day LOSER

3 Team ML PARLAY - LOSER
Louisville ml WINNER
Kansas ml WINNER
Florida ml LOSER

Official Sides go 1-1 with Rider losing and N. Colorado blowing them out as expected... Sometimes spreading yourself over 10 plays leaves you down instead of up on the day... Man, I'm pissed...

Is it fair to say the 1-1 plays relate to a system that you use? Or do you hit those harder than the other players?

I'm not trying to piss you off and hope you don't take it as such.

Hey Spits,

I only keep record of complete game sides that are of 1 UNIT or larger, as I've stated many times and IS SHOWN IN MY SIGNATURE.

I do this because I like to gamble just like everyone else, and certain plays are coattails or to watch a game.

All other plays ARE ACTION plays... Plays that I am making without serious capping. I don't do totals as stated, and I don't try to record of half bets....

If you have looked through my record, you would see Saturday I was 11-4 TOTAL but 9-2 on sides...

Does that help?

Don;t read w/ a tone as there isn't one... But I'll create a daily DISCLAIMER as I left it off in February as I played few games...

looks like I did get lazy yesterday. I'll keep it neat and tidy to remove and confusion as well as only list 1 unit plays or more going forward.

FYI, Citadel falls into this today while Davidson does not. So I would only be posting a 1 game total tomorrow...

Best of luck...

I guess in my old age I get irritated too easy. When a person goes to the trouble to post winners day in and day out what difference does the record he shows make. I don't remember this being a competition of any kind. Woodson, I've watched you all year and you've been solid with every play your've posted. Good luck tonight.

Thanks woodson, that helps and makes sense.

GSP, love your work as well, and agree this is not a competition. However, some people may look at one's posted record on this site in helping them determine who they decide to coattail.

Regardless, I appreciate both of your insights and look forward to your plays the rest of the month.

Thanks fellas, and good luck with your plays tonight.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The Eagles (8-20 overall, 5-14 SoCon) will honor two seniors in a pre-game ceremony. Anthony Marshall (Lake Worth, FL/Lake Worth) and Kenith Ward (Warner Robins/Northside) will close out their home career trying to help Georgia Southern end a 10-game Southern Conference losing streak and give head coach Jeff Price his 300th career win.

In early January the Eagles dropped an 84-75 decision at The Citadel and would lose guard Willie Powers for the year with a knee injury. Antonio Hanson (Fort Worth, TX/Independence CC) scored 17 points for the Eagles.

True-freshman Ben Drayton III (St. Marys/Camden County) is continuing to make his case as SoCon ?Freshman of the Year?, averaging 14.1 points in league play (11.7 overall). His 51.9 percent shooting from 3-point range (41-of-79) not only leads the SoCon but would set a Georgia Southern single-season and freshman class record.

Hanson holds a slight edge in the scoring lead over Drayton at 11.9 points. He is tied for fifth among the SoCon leaders averaging 2.8 ?3s? per game.

Tyler Troupe (Gallatin, TN/Iowa Western CC) ranks among the scoring and rebounding leaders at 9.6 and 6.4 per game, respectively.

The Citadel (19-11, 14-5) dropped a 62-55 decision to Wofford on Saturday, snapping its 11-game winning streak. The teams were tied at 25-all at halftime. Demetrius Nelson registered 14 points and eight rebounds and Cameron Wells added 13 points. Wofford held a 30-24 edge on the glass and the Bulldogs made only 3-of-15 from 3-point range.

Nelson leads the scoring attack at 15.9 points per game and shoots an impressive 59 percent from the field. Wells is close behind at 15.3 points, in addition to his 5.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists. As a team The Citadel is shooting 44.7 percent from the field and 71.4 percent at the free throw line.
