Recap of Week Eight

The last three weeks in NCAA foots have been profitable. Last week 4-2 posted side and totals not counting Ga Tech (cover) which I pulled off of at the last moment. Texas - Missouri total and Alabama get the losses. I had Missori scoring 20, they only scored 7. It was a last minute play and cost me a unit. That's gambling.

Going to cut back on the teases as well but the big tease of TCU and LSU was a winner. Lesson here is stick to the main bets, and quit adding late games for the sport of it.

Early Leans

Boston College -4 BIG PLAY
MAC vs ACC at home, BC has played very well. CMU has the better stats in all but punting. I believe these stats to be misleading as C. Michigan hasn't played the caliber of teams that BC has. Should be a good game but with the Notre Dame loss, BC will not be looking ahead. They need this game and I believe they will get it. In their last meeting in 06, BC won by eight, 31 - 24.

Georgia Tech -13.5
Paul Johnson leads the Jackets to Nasville to take on the Commodores. Man, I can't say enough about this coach. Doing a superb job at GT. I have made a killing off of Vandy so far this year. The UNDER has hit the last two weeks and I am going to be putting money on it again this week. Looking at the stats, Vandy is avg. just 10 points the last four games while Ga Tech is avg. well over the 24 needed for a cover, closer to 40. I have the under around 42. I will not be playing BOTH Ga Tech and the UNDER, so I'm waiting on the numbers now.

Kentucky -3 (S.E.C. Guru Play of the Year)
This is a play that is solely based on it being Guru's play of the year. Nothing but respect for his selections and patience in finding the play he's comfortable putting his hard earned ca$h on. My thinking is that M St. is on the road and just came away from giving it their all against Florida.

Thanks #cruncher and El JB.

Nebraska -12.5
Thank butterfingers last week for such a low line. Turnovers have killed Nebraska and this line shows Vegas thinks it will continue. There is nothing worse than being in the red zone and coming away with no points. Nebraska has mastered this technique. I'd imagine the coaches have given balls to the QB and RB to cradle this entire week. Fewer turnovers allow Nebraska to cruise to a 37-7 victory.

I lean Nebraska but I dont agree about the line. Nebraska is actually a FG more chalk than higher ranked Okie State was at Baylor last week.

Cincinatti -14 (-120)
Cincinatti goes into Syracuse. I know, I know, doule digit road favorite is a no play. Not so fast my friend. Cinci outclasses the Big Orange in all stats except time of possession and punting. Power rankings show Cincinatti to be 7th in the nation while Syracuse is 96th. A good comparison, Louisville is 82nd in power rankings and were beat 41-10. Look for the same reult this week.

Great point Sun. The line opened last week at 7.5, you are spot on. I stand corrected in my reasoning. Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully, the end result is the same. :mj06:

Oregon St -9
You'd have to go back to the first week of October to find a single digit loss for the Bruins. Since then it has been double digit deficits. Travelling to Oregon St this week to close out on a winless October, UCLA has played horrible and I don't see any improvements this week. Power rankings have UCLA 62 and Oregon St. 32. Two possession win for Oregon St. looks like a solid play to me. On the road UCLA is scoring about 16 points per game. Oregon St. is averaging 34. I like this one by DD.

Mississippi -4 BIG PLAY
War Damn Eagle! I love my team but it doesn't come into play when I gamble. I hit LSU and the under (not posted) last week and plan on continuing to get returns on Auburn this week. The Auburn defense is atrocious and has no depth. None. The offense has amnesia and has forgotten how to score. Since getting beat by Arkansas Auburn has only score 13 and 10 points. Couple that with Ole Miss's resurgance after the Alabama loss and we've got another long day on the Plains of Auburn. I just don't see us bouncing back and believe the next win will be against Furman. The under may also be a play.

This game was the very first game that jumped out at me when I checked the lines.... Georgia Tech should run all over them

Harly,

Hey man! :mj06: Yes, the first post has Early Leans followed by my thoughts on the gmes mentioned. Good questions as my thread tend to get confusing.

The FINAL WAGERS PLACED will always indicate a placed wager.

The Michigan -7 is Michigan against Illinois. The Ealry Leans can still come into play but will be added in a new response to final wagers.

I'll work on organization and communication:)

Not to mention, our Tigers are 1-5 in the last six games played at 11 am, not good for our home team. not sure why Caudel is not starting  at some point you have to play for the future as we are looking at the papa johns bowl so wtf? I am with you on the pick. War damn eagle.... Gl this week :toast:
