Have you guys ever noticed all the people who said they were there. If true, there would have been 10 million in attendance. However, I do wish I would have gone. It was about 10 hours from where I was living at the time and I was 17.

Still to this day The Woodstock Festival has a special place in my heart....

I used to work as a waiter in the Catskill Mountains during my college days & was about 10 miles away from the event....I wanted to go but couldn't take the time off....

I still occasionally play the video while I hang out in my home office....& it still puts a smile on my face when I hear the music....

Boy was Gracie Slick hot in those days....

I was a month shy of 5 when Woodstock took place.

Thanks for sharing your memories, Al. Lots of friends have been remembering where they were and what they were doing 50 years ago this week.

12 years ago on August 16th, we were welcoming our daughter into the world. [emoji3590]
