Be careful when playing this weeks tournaments as tee times and weather are very important.
At the AT & T we have the 3 courses and we know what the weather can be like at Pebble Beach
At the Vines Heineken Classic there is the wind known as the "Freemantle Doctor"

So beware

Anyone know any scoop on Mickelson and personal problems.Read elsewhere from 3rd party and can't confirm?
=============================================
Also any clue if Duval trashes Nike irons he played with this week or will he give em another go?

Agree with you about courses & weather Ian. Last year the UGS books [Moneyplays, GoTo Casino, etc.] generally posted daily matchups that didn't take into account which course each player was playing on that day. However, if I remember correctly, by the Invensys Classic in October they would make sure they were playing the same course

Don't think tee-times will be important though. With two-tee starts and on three courses, everyone tees off within a 2 1/2 hour band from 8am to 10.20am local time.

DTB I've heard nothing about Mickelson and as for Duval's clubs, a certain Hennie Otto threw his into a lake two weeks ago after missing the cut at the South African Masters. This week he came very close to winning the South African Open, so maybe there's hope (and a model) for Duval yet

Should have made that clearer
weather important issue at both events but at AT & T affects the courses differently
In Australia tee times are important as you really do need an early time on day 1 as wind can blow you out of event on 1st day if it gets up

The 54 and 72 hole bets are tricky but an interesting point on the lowest round, in the last 5 years only Woods (62) and Duval (63) have shot under 63.5 in the 3rd round in 1997, if no-one else has done it and these two are not exactly at the top of their game that -130 could be worth a play

Saw this in question/answer interview with Calc and thought it may be of interest.

Question: How did your practice rounds go this week?

Mark Calcavecchia: They went great! I played two of the three days and still am playing good. I'm glad tomorrow is Thursday, I'm ready to get back at it!

Nothing like a pro am to dezone one.
