World Cup 2002 May 31st-June 30th 2002 in South Korea and Japan
I know it is early but if you have some extra money to place, you can make your future bet before it goes down has it already started since the draw two weeks ago.
Had the chance to put a few $$$ on Argentina at 7/1 (now at 7/2) and Italy at 10/1 (now at 13/2).

Really happy about the draw if you're taking Italy or Argentina 'cause the only way they could met would be in the final !
With what is happening right now in Argentina (economic crisis), i think the national team should be more than motivate and what better way than being a world cup champ to heal the population?
Italy had a young team in 1998 but this time, they have the tools to go very far...
On the other side, England could surprise but with the draw... ouch!
They will be in group F, the death group, with Argentina (wich i foresee in the final), Sweden and Nigeria
Germany, even though i've always cheers for them
don't seem ready at all.
Brazil.... Not this year gentlemen! They hardly qualify and despite their reputation, don't look good so far...
Spain, who litterally choke in the last world cup might surprise this time.
France had a good draw and are as good as in 1998. However, to repeat will be a difficult task. Prediction: Argentina over France during quarter final.
How the draw works? If you want to make some predictions here's what you have to know:
First two teams of each groups make playoffs and groups will be split like this: A-F and C-H with one finalist and B-E and D-G for the other finalist
on december 22nd 2001, here's (for fun right?) my prediction: Argentina 3 Italy 2
