Today the final matches in the group stages of a superb World Cup take place. The action in Group G will be compelling with several permutations possible, Switzerland will fancy their chances of advancing but playing for a draw could prove to be dangerous against the lively Koreans. Surely it is time for the real French team to show up to take care of Togo and finally make an impression on this tournament. In Group H the Jekyll and Hyde Ukrainians take on the gallant Tunisians, a draw will see Shevchenko and co. in the Knockout Stage.
Who to Play for Friday?s Games
Spain -500 vs Saudi Arabia +1400
Spain has already qualified for the 2nd Round and Saudi Arabia are playing for their lives. If Saudi Arabia actually pulls out some kind of miracle from the G-Ds and the Ukraine lose to Tunisia, the Saudi?s actually qualify. However, this is as likely as the USA beating a small African country. It simply won?t happen. The Spanish have nothing to play for, will probably play their C team, might mess around all game and will still win this affair easily. I would not suggest laying -500 on a normal basis, but Saudi Arabia are way out of their league in this game. I also like the Over 2.5 -170 offered at BetWWTS.
Ukraine -150 vs Tunisia +400
This game is for all the marbles. Assuming Spain wins or draws, whoever wins this game advances, however Ukraine advances on a draw. It is as simple as that and both teams will be on the A game Friday. The Over and Under is 2.5 -110 for the Over and I love this play. The Ukraine can score having put 2 goals in each game and they are not the strongest defensive team. Tunisia is the same, being strong on offense and letting 5 goals in, in their 1st 2 games of the World Cup. I think the Ukraine win this game 2-1 or 3-1 and I will be playing both Ukraine -150 and the Over.

If these teams draw, they both move onto to the 2nd round and the French cry in the streets for another 4 years. However, neither of these teams will play for a draw and frankly I see the Swiss winning this game easily. South Korea, pulled a shocking upset out by tying the French, but the Frenchman dominated that game from start to finish and simply lost focus at the end. The Swiss will not want to risk losing this game and having France pass them and qualify. I expect this to be a one sided affair with the Swiss winning 1-0 or 2-0. I like the Under in this game, offered at Under 2.5 -150 at the BetWWTS sportsbook.

The French are playing for their lives. If they don?t win this game they are out the tournament. Quite frankly, I am sick of this team and hope they get slaughtered. They have scored 1 goal in 5 World Cup games and couldn?t put a high school team away. With that said, they can?t lose to Togo ? yes they can ? no they can?t. I am skipping this game. Who knows which French team will show up and as I said above, I hope they lose and go away.
