My take is that there are 12 good teams and they?re all seriously flawed. . I think Uruguay and Columbia have the best value but will start taking them once the knockouts start. The gap between the haves and the have nots has never been wider but the top is as tight as it?s ever been

For the opener, I know Russia sucks at soccer but they?re good at cheating and if they weren?t, we wouldn?t even be here.

I don't know much about either team but have seen how defensive both teams are based on the goal totals in qualifying, bit in the three game first round , they both need a win with Portugal and Spain coming up. That doesn't lend itself to a low scoring game no matter what the form table says.

Spain was my favorite to to win until they lost their coach, but the negative effects of that won't happen here. No flaws with the squad on the field.

A couple of different podcasts that I listen to have mentioned the prescience of PAerus fans in Russia, so I?m expecting Peru to have the support in the stands and are in a record unbeaten run. I don?t rate Denmark much and really think that it shouldn?t be difficult for a team with a midfield to stop them.
