First of all, I preface by saying what an absolute delight it has been sharing info and thoughts with the lot of you. I have learned much and laughed much as well so thanks! :)

Lastly, the whole @!*(#$ world likes the over in the 3rd place game......but not me. :nono: I think S. Korea will make this its World Cup Finals and that said then there is no way that it's a shootout. Besides, Turkey hasn't been able to hit the side of a barn so why start now? Anyway.....

3rd place matchup:

Turkey has really impressed me with its playing and have gotten stronger with each game. South Korea has also been impressive but seems to have been running out of gas with each game. However, South Korea is incredibly fit and have had time to rest and at home, with the pride of its country riding with the outfit as a 12th man, my money is on South Korea to bring it home.

S. Korea ML +120
S. Korea draw +225
S. Korea under 2' -160
S. Korea to win -170 (inc. G. Goal and PK)

Finals. At last! Brazil-the Samba Kings, those that play an inspiring, almost poetic football. The team I have chosen all along to win it is close oh so close and the only thing in its way is a no-nonsense if not uncreative, very tight defensive unit otherwise known as Germany and its keeper-Wolverine errrr I mean Kahn. Germany's offensive has been less than inspiring recently and losing Ballack doesn't help and also Klose has all but pulled a disappearing act. So, what's it going to be? Offensive vs. defense? In this case, Brazil has the better offense and its defense should be more than adequate. In what should be a tight scoring affair, look for Brazil to capitalize on one German miscue and take the title.

Brazil ML -125
Brazil draw +240
Brazil under 2' -180
Brazil to win it all -240 (inc. G. goal and PK)

GL, hash.

I tend to agree on your SoKor-Turk under. I'm sure it will be a little more loose w/ players not as quite so uptight. But Korea in particular has not impressed me w/ their ability to finish in the box. I'm not convinced they can change their style that quickly. And Turkey's keeper has been great. Korea is the listed favorite and I really have a tough time seeing them getting 2+.

As for the final, needless to say I disagree. Germany for me. I realize I may be on an island there, but I'm takin the plunge. I might even drink German beer Sunday morning. Beck's or Heineken would qualify, right?

GL, men, whoever you're on.

Hey Chucky da G,

I'm looking to be quite on the wrong side of the S. Korea-Turkey game and the rest of you are right on. Cest la vie.....I still really think the finals will unfold as I call it. But what do I know? :D
Good luck man!
