what does this mean?

These are the decimal prices for a 3 way book. Using the first for example;
Chile is 1/2 or -200 and has to win (tie is a losing bet). Venezuela is 9/2 or +450 and has to win (tie is a losing bet). The tie (aka draw) is 23/10 or +230 and is only a winner if both teams have the same score at the end of the game.

You think this is confusing.....wait till you learn about the quarter balls in Asian Handicaps (whcih is the best way to bet soccer). If you get to that point, let me know and I'll try to explain them.

Gravy - try and play them on the Asian Handicap rather than on the ML, most good books will offer this...I hate playing ML chalk in soccer...

Rather than play the ML chalk, the books offer u the soccer equivalent of a pts start, ie a goals handicap.
eg, u may get Chile -1 goal, Paraguay -1.5 for example ... that mean that if Chile win by 2 or more u collect, a 1-goal win is a push... Paraguay would have to win by 2, a 1-goal win would be a losing bet etc...
