Mexico is kinda pedestrian recently (as opposed to their previous squads) and SA played a very inspired Confed-Cup last summer. You don't consider the history of hosts playing extremely well in past WC's?

One thing that surprised me in the Confederation's Cup was how cold it was during the games which will be taking place at the same time of the year as the World Cup. Definitely think that it will effect teams from the warmer climates
