Who let the dogs out?

Who let the dogs out?

Two extremely live dogs are Kamal Shalorus and Assuncao.

Shalorus is mad tough and was ranked top10 in the world in freestyle wrestling at one point. His standup is coming along, though cardio seems to fade in later minutes..

Assuncao and Faber are both athletic and well-rounded, and two of the most well-conditioned guys in MMA right now. Faber got beat up by Brown his last time out, but managed to stay alive w/ two broken hands.. Assuncao didnt exactly wreck shop his last time out either, but his opponent was better than expected considering his level of experience. I think Assuncao is being highly underrated based on that fight.

Faber has the sharper standup, but Assuncao will be able to take and give back. Assuncao has the better takedowns and all-around ground game (Faber doesnt really use takedowns much).. These guys will spend some time on the ground and as we've seen lately Faber likes to give up his back a good bit. He hasnt been submitted yet, but there is nothing good to come from wearing a human backpack in the world of MMA. Mike Brown took advantage of this against Faber and Assuncao will capitalize as well, maybe helping him pull out a decision..

Enough talk all I really have to say is ruff-ruff. Assuncao is the play at anything better than +250 and odds are far better right now.

My bets are-

Tamura to beat Charlie at -120.
I just think Tamura is better than Charlie all over.

Varner to beat Henderson at -140.
I actually think thoses odds are a gift. Varner is a better wrestler and striker.
Henderson has been dummied before and if the Cowboy could not sub Varner, then I'm sure Ben won't either.

Good luck!! :toast:

gotta admit...looking at henderson hard...the guy that whacked him was a full fledged 170 pounder...

i`m a big varner fan,but henderson`s cardio is excellent and he was an naia all american wrestler.....

have to think on it...

I can't believe Wagnney Fabiano can make 136 pounds.

I went to his gym in Toronto a few years ago and he is about the same height as me.
He has Big Biceps and HUGE Monkey Paws.

When I am in great shape, I weigh about 150pounds (right now, I am fat Paul at 190) and Wagney is far bigger in bone structure than I could ever be.
For a little guy, he is big built.
It amazes me that he made this weight.

still considering the main event...respect wee`s judgement and always liked varner...one tough hombre..

think i`ll try and re-watch cerrone`s fights with both guys...not usually big on wagering on main events on mma cards...

also like g.k,`s parlay... wondering if sermrzier might be getting too much respect off the shocking fabiano win....happened so fast...

roop is huge at this weight...drained?...maybe...at +220?...might be worth a tickle...

kick...the guy hominick`s fighting is a dangerous submission guy,from what i`m reading...

and shalorus/dave jansen?...that`s a nice match-up.....shalorus is a great grappler and a powerful striker...but a very sloppy,loose and wide punching striker....jansen has some power himself...great match-up...

excellent wec card...

still deciding what to post as my plays....tough card...

just watched curran/assuncao...what a hose job...curran(fighting at home)had no business getting that decision...

the ref took a ridiculous point at the very end of the fight...and broke the fighters several times for no reason when assuncao was on top...

not picking assuncao to win tonight....he might be too slow...but,that was a ridiculous travesty of a decision...

Not going big as I like Varner so I will try to squeeze the juice and give me reason to care about others:

Parlay:
Varner
Fabiano
Brown
100 wins 110

Saves me 45 in juice and wins an extra 10 as I don't think Fabiano or Brown lose.

Also trying one dog:

Assuncao(+280) for 50 wins 140. --Let's what Faber does as I just don't trust him.
