I am still scheduled to go to Vegas June 17-24. I was planning on a couple WSOP events. I'd still like to go but I think it's very unlikely I'll be flying or visiting Vegas until they come up with a vaccine. I might have a different opinion of what I would do if I was 20-30 years younger but at 65 I don't think it's advisable to take any unnecessary chances. Fortunately for me I don't have to work outside my home. As you can imagine I am taking a financial hit personally with income coming to a screeching halt but am in the position to be able to get by for an extended period without income. I feel for all the people that need to get back to work to provide for their family.

On the course!

Maybe one of the changes we will see, is people saving some money, so they dont live check to check?

THAT is as good as it can be said sir,,ALL of it,,Ive told you in the past i have been booking for years,,Luckily I can outrun this stuff for a while,,But still miss it badly and it still hurts because the income is not there. The web site we use has the E sports on it and people are playing it a little.and yes,,If i was 30 -40 years old I would be the first in line on the plane to vegas!

Back in 2003, I bought my now-wife's engagement ring from a friend's 90-year-old grandpa who, despite his age, continued to run the jewelry store he'd owned for the past 50 years. When I went to pay him - I don't remember the exact total but I know the change at the end was $.93. I gave him as close to exact change as possible without involving coins. He said "oh I owe you some change" - I told him not to worry about it and was surprised how insistent he was. He kept saying "you guys are just starting out and need to make sure you save." Which I kinda thought was funny because what the hell was 7 extra cents going to do for me in life? But in retelling this story over the next couple years, the consensus was that for those who lived through the Great Depression - there was no such thing as a trivial amount of money. Every penny counted. And they never lost that mentality. We will very likely see that mentality start to emerge again. Which on one hand is good because the US consumer would do well to save more money but on the other hand a permanent shift to decreased consumption is certainly not going to help the economic recovery.

We don't want any pansies in Vegas anyway.....scared, that's gay

Whatever Scott. I'm high risk. I still have responsibilities and a family that counts on me being there for them. They come first. A trip to Vegas can wait.

Pansies, scared and gay? Real nice.
