ANDOVER,MN,
SportsBook.com has the NL at +130 to win the series. Can someone please tell me who has the home field advantage this year? I like Arizona no matter where they are playing. But, if Az has Home field I think +130 is generous and I'll jump on it. Your help and thoughts are appreciated.

If Scilling and Johnson are gonna pitch 5 of the 7 games, and 3 of those 5 will be at home, count me in at + 130.

Although never count out the Yanks, they beat Oaktown, and hopefully Seattle tonight, the 2 teams people thought would be in the series from the AL.

Barring any unforseen injuries, I believe Schilling and Johnson (who knows or really cares about the order!) will pitch games 1, 2, 4, 5, and 7 if needed. Obviously things could change especially if the DBacks are up 3 to 1 after 4 games. . . they may decide to move one of their studs to games six instead of game five and see if they can win the series without having to go back to either of these pitchers. The worst case scenerio is they lost game 5 and have to win one of their final 2 games at home with their two aces!

If it's indeed the Yankees in the fall classic, I will take them no matter what the series price is or who has home-field advantage. For one, home field advantage or "disadvantage" means NOTHING to the New York Yankees. Secondly, I would look for the savvy Yankees to be very patient against Schilling and Johnson -- swinging at nothing but good pitches (IE ones that are actually strikes) and drive their pitch counts up high so they can maybe get those guys out of the game by the end of 6 or sometime in the 7th. Arizona can not rely on their bullpen and Batista and Lopez have a very limited chance of beating any of the quality NY starters. Plus, let's remember Arizona CANNOT TRAIL after 7 innings or the game is just about automatically over. Period. No questions asked. Yankees always find a way to step up....give me them all day long vs. Arizona. Just my 2 cents. Good luck to all no matter what you play in that series.

Yankee fans will occupy maybe 40 percent of Bank One Ballpark. Tickets sold out for this game by 4 am the night they went on sale. The city is going crazy and eagerly awaiting the arrival of Buh for the 1st pitch! Where do I go ASU football vs Washington for free or 300 dollars for nosebleed world series?
Anyways I like the Yankees to roll in this series unfortunatly. Go dbacks though

Valuist,

That's not true! Games 1 and 2 yes. However, game 4 is still up for grabs depending on where the DBacks stand after 3 games. . . if you read ESPN, then the article indicated that it could be inferred that Bautista would get the nod for game 4. . .
