Hudson Valley area.....NY
A few days ago I told my wife lets take the train down to the NYC and visit the 9/11 World Trade Center...having been there 2 times but never in the Museum...its hard to describe what our visit was like....powerful.moving and emotional...Can't really put in words this experience ...the outside of the Memorial is beautiful...the 2 waterfalls where the base of the buildings stood is memorizing...when we were there they were putting a white rose on Thomas Palazzo marker....of the 2,000 names on these markers when it someones birthday they put a " white rose"...there was no ceremony..just a person with a few roses walking around finding everyone born on Aug 21...reading all the controversy over the years about how to honor this site they did an outstanding job...

The Museum was breathtaking...can't even describe it....there was one section in the corner where many people might pass.. It was called Trapped"...they had pictures of all the people jumping to their deaths... two stood out,,one was a guy well built who had no shirt on with his fist in the air ...it looked like a Bruce Willis figure attacking the air....he was never identified ....but the other one was the most emotional one .. I had tears in my eyes,,... it is James Gilroy describing from another building what he saw and witnessed " she had a business suit on,her hair was askew.. This woman stood for what seemed like a minute, then she held down her skirt and then stepped off the ledge, " I thought how human, how modest,to hold her skirt before she jumped.. I couldn't look anymore".
I know in a few weeks it will be Sept 11th...its a place you can only visit once...but for those that go to visit NYC its something you have to see and experience,,,it should be on every ones bucket list...
