That's just not right. If you blindly throw darts at the wall, you have a 1/2 chance of hitting a side and also a 1/2 chance of hitting the total.
To hit both, you have a 1/2 * 1/2 chance, or 1/4. That's if you do NO CAPPING AT ALL.
As long as your plays can beat the juice, then by all means bet them.
It seems like it would be easy to hit 52.38% to break even with -110 juice, but obviously it's not. Heck, Canbet offers -107 and Pinnacle offers -105 on most stuff, and it's STILL HARD.
Chances of going 0-11 if you are throwin darts at the wall are simply 1/2 to the 11th power (0.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 = 0.04882% chance, or 1 in 2048.34 chance.

Crap happens, that's for sure... you just have to be ready and naked for it when it comes!! :moon: :moon: :moon:
When I first starting playing blackjack, I remember betting $5 a hand waiting for good counts. I got none at all for an hour, so I just sat there betting $5 a hand for an hour, roaming from table to table. Now when you lose 3 hands in a row, you think, "wow I lost 3 hands in a row." But then it turned into 10 hands in a row, and I was getting pissed. So after 1 hour of blackjack, at maybe 8 or 9 different tables, I played 50 hands. I LITERALLY went 0-48-2 on the first 50 hands before I won a hand. I was down $250 in $5 bets. That hasn't happened since, and I've played literally over 3 million hands of blackjack in my life (much of it video blackjack).
No one I have ever met has ever gone 0-48-2 at blackjack after 50 hands, but it somehow happened. It was just a fluke that day. Luckily I knew that weird things happen, and I continued to play and have made plenty since.
Another very strange thing in blackjack was in my days of video blackjack. I played about 1000 hands per hour, and this was a single deck game dealt off the top of the deck every hand. 3 times in 1 hour (1000 hands) the dealer received 4 consecutive blackjacks. The chances of getting 1 blackjack off the top of a single deck game are just under 1:21. Let's call it 1:20. So the chances of getting 4 in a row are 1/20 x 1/20 x 1/20 x 1/20 = 1 in 160,000. This happened 3 focking times in 1000 hands. BASICALLY FOCKING IMPOSSIBLE!! If I hadn't seen it I wouldn't have believed it.
If that had happened before I had played a TON of winning hands on that machine, I would have FOR SURE just quit for life calling it nonrandom. But since I had already played the game for a long time and knew it was random, I didn't quit.
Mathematically, that's the worst I have EVER seen it in gambling.
So strange things do happen in gambling. If you have a long-term edge (which is tough to tell in sports, especially in the short-run), then you will win and shouldn't worry too much about the short-term flukes.
If you don't have an edge, then bet a small amount that you can afford FOR FUN. Don't fock with sports because you will go broke.
Good luck brother.
