In my mind, it is.

Astros are hitting 2-31 WRISP

Card's arent doing much better

Angels have committed two boneheaded game-losing plays

White Sox are not anything special with Konerko and a bunch of seemingly nothing to write home about lineup and a decent pitching staff.

decent pitching staff.

understatement imo

while no future hall of famers, the sox 4 core of starters went 63-31 this year. i doubt you could find more than 1 or 2 other teams that had this good a win percentage.

thats the whole concept of the white sox. win with no superstars, but i think all 4 of their starters are worthy of at least some kind of star status

youre right, just your run-of-the-mill pitching staff that has gotten 3 complete games from their starters in the ALCS. you kidding me? nothing average about this pitching staff. its damn good, and its been this way the whole season. theres a reason they won so many one run games. pitching was fantastic from april through october.

White Sox are winning this whole thing easy.

Astros will put up a fight, but their lack of hitting will finally catch up with them once they go up against a team with better hitting AND better pitching.

Counting the last 3 games vs a playoff bound Indians team at the end of the season.............Sox have now won 7 straight road games vs Cleveland, Boston and LAA..........

VERY, VERY IMPRESSIVE..........

yes they have pitched well but neither the red sox nor the angels played well

normally you get to see good baseball out of most teams

white sox are the only team playing any resemblence of playoff baseball

that being said, i think Guillen is a heck of a manager...will be fun to watch his teams for the next 30 or so years

bigger names? yes
more postseason experience? yes, without question.
capable of shutting down the sox? absolutely
but pitching better this postseason? definitely not, at least not to this point.

cards have pissed away chance after chance neither the cards or astros deserve to go. i agree pitiful baseball marquis gets the jughead of the playoffs award for me-- over runs a bunt and then comes up the next inning and tries to bunt himself and pops it up to the catcher. cards have made many mistakes i am not watching another game just absolute crap.

shit. you must not be betting. are we talking about the quality of the game itself ? or the game from a gamblers' standpoint? if thats the case, it was interesting. as it always is. thats why we are here........... :mj14:

Chicago
Crede(outside of game one), Konerko and especially Uribe have all been playing stellar defense in the post season to this point.
