I'm with ya....Pay cash to the places within walking distance. My insurance man is a lifelong friend whose son played at WVU, so my visits to his office could last an hour or so. :0008

All my bills are paid online, I use a debit card when out and buy a lot online.

Are you telling me there are places in the USA where you are waiting in line and somebody in front of you can pay by cheque (Canadian spelling:SIB)?

The last time I saw somebody pay by cheque these things were sitting on the counter..........








The last time I saw somebody paying for something via cheque was like in 1991 or right around there, it boggles my mind that one can still pay for something with a cheque, holy hell:scared

I haven?t written checks in 15 years at least to pay bills. Maybe write 3 checks a year max, Online banking and use a credit card here with cash back use it for everything I can and pay it off monthly.

You really should try online bill pay. Once you do you won't go back. Certain bills like mortgage, you just set for auto pay and never even have to do anything unless the payment changes. Go electronic and get all your bills online in email, then go to bill pay and pay it in a matter of seconds. Just try it, it's free too. Some bills, like cell phones, if you do auto pay from your checking gets you a discount. Switching to electronic statements often gets you a discount too. I don't think any of my bills come in the mail anymore. Create a new email account just for your bills only. Then save all your receipts in a special folder that you create just for that purpose.

Bank of America just started charging 12 dollars to transfer from my savings to checking.,
