i had a thought that i think would be a lot of fun if we could get it done, dont know if its legal or not.

what i thought we could do is pick one game a week(monday night football, or the thursday game,,,) and have contest to pick the total. In other words, a pot.
this would be very easy to do using pay pal.
the entry fee could be like 2 bucks or something and whoever entered could send their 2 bucks via pay pal to some one we can trust. (jack, nolan, nick, ) someone we know has honor. then whoever gets closest to the total wins the pot!!!! the trusted person then could send the winnigs through pay pal.
as big as this forum is the pot could get pretty big!!

any thoughts

Depends upon state law as to the legality. In my home state of Kentucky I think this would be legal because there is no 'juice' involved. Many years back a 'friendly poker game' law was passed which basically legalized gambling amongst people as long as no one was 'cutting' the pot. If there is any kind of fee involved then it would be illegal in KY. Parimutual betting on horses is, however, highly encouraged.

As well as those lottery tickets, Skinar!

It's hard to get into the local minit mart the first of the month secondary to all those govt. money checks being cashed and invested in powerball tickets.
