The worse food I ever had was in England :sadwave:
I used to think the same way, but I just came back from another 6 month stay in England and I have to say I loved the food.
The best pizza I have ever had was in London at Franco Manca, and a close second was also a small authentic Italian place also in the UK.
Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had was at Cantina Loredo in London as well. The portion sizes are tiny and the prices are pretty expensive, but the food is fucking awesome.
They have some really good street food too. There are a few Burrito places in the UK I would choose every day of the week over places here like Moe'e or Chipolte.
I think the noticeable difference in food there is the quality. The quality of ingredients just seems much higher and not mass produced shit.
I know McDonalds is shit, but as an example, McDonalds there and here tastes drastically different and I believe it is just the quality of the ingredients. Same with Dominos Pizza.
I've never been big on fish and chips, as I am not huge on fish, but a chip butty from a good chip shop is amazing.
Some Pubs also do really nice food. I am actually leaning towards the food there now than the food here.
