Scallops over grits......hell yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Little bacon grease in the pan cooking scallops won't hurt. :0003

edit......My bad, last night had a quick glance and thought it was a scallop in the middle. I was drinking alcohol. Think that was the reason? Or did joker change pictures today? :mj07:

Regardless, both choices would be awesome. Going to make this week.

I'll pass.
Never had grits and really don't care for shrimp....

I hate that for you Sir. When people say these type things it makes me wonder if you were ruined forever by someone serving a bad version of grits (maybe lumpy with no butter or seasoning) or some bad shrimp that were old and maybe a little slimy? Wish I could cook you a version and have you try again.

I'm all for trying new things don't get me wrong. Grits isn't something that's served here maybe I should get some and cook them myself?

Yes, and follow directions on stirring, you want them almost runny, yet thick enough to sit on a spoon. And a great way to eat is mix in medium or sharp shredded cheddar cheese while grits are hot, and the cheese melts into it perfectly while stirring. Don't be afraid to put plenty of cheese. :SIB

Grits in this picture look like they could have cheddar mixed in because of yellow color.
