of course not...not like it's gonna run any better anyway.....maybe flare up better when tapped from the rear, but,i digress.....
pitt-5(might even see a 4 by gametime)...coming off a loss....vs the 2-0 ravens who have beaten exactly who?.....the greenville greyhounds and the pottstown firbirds?(or teams around the same talent level)...at home....
i saw that many "sharps" in the vegas contest pick the ravens...that`s insane...sometimes these "wise guys" are to clever by half....
willie parker`s out?(i believe rashard mendenhall plays in pittsburgh..and didn`t they acquire mewelde` moore in the offseason?)...
...casey hampton?....i`ll call that with the ravens` best "d" lineman kelly gregg and starting cb samari rolle, starting safety d`wan landry out...and their stating left tackle adam terry questionable...and the only reason he starts is because jon ogden retired...
joe flacco starting his first road game....EVER....on monday night in pittsburgh...pittsburgh coming off a loss.... the ravens in 1st in the division...
the ravens have a decent ground game...particularly when they play leron mcclain...but the steelers handle the run pretty well....they have trouble vs the pass...unfortunately for the ravens, they just don`t have the talent or the experience to take advantage...
pitt gave up 8 sacks to philly last week?...thats fine...the ravens don`t rush the passer very well...
pitt 13-0 at home on monday night....
the steelers have allowed just four 100-yard runners in their past 69 games, including the postseason....
.722 steelers' winning percentage at home since the 1970 nfl merger, best in the league....
this is what i love about the early season...2 wins vs garbage teams on their own field and all of a sudden the ravens with a rookie qb,an inexperienced o` line and 2 starters out in the starting defensive backfield and as pedestrian a group of wide receivers as there is in the nfl are capable of going into pittsburgh on a monday night...with the steelers coming off a loss....and they`re gonna hang in with them?...
and btw...pitt travels to jacksonville next week...not good...
think pittsburgh wants this inter-divisional game?....think they want to fall 2 games back heading into jacksonville?....
methinks not....love this set-up...
which leads me back to the topic of this thread...
"would you put 93 octane in a pinto"...of course not....
would a responsible, successful gambler flail about in all these other hard to peg games this weekend with this low hanging fruit in reach?....
