The Dog should 100% be returned...I understand shelter's have policies, but the adopting family must be a bunch of heartless assholes.

None of you would go get the dog, because the shelter would not tell you the address of the new family.

The new family should obviously give him back, but the original owner is a complete fucking moron for not having a chip in the dog.

im surprised u feel for the family. The neo-con who wont give the dog back is just doing what most neo-cons do. Take something they never earned at the lowest price :toast:

well, in this case the original owners should get their dog back:shrug: after the family called about the dog the shelter should have made special arrangements to keep him until the original owners made it to the shelter to prove they owned him

Where it is real F ing COLD
I would definitely send the dog back, at the same time the owner is an idiot.

If any of my dogs were missing, you can put up posters but you call all the shelters in the area and let them know that you have a missing dog,. In this case you let them know you have a missing Boston Terrier, then BOOM the dog gets turned in and then they call you.. SIMPLE

What i don't understand is that the people who got him have to be somewhat decent since they went to the shelter to get it. Shelter instead of buying one.

Maybe the new owners are Chinese and the dog is no longer available :0003

Plus this is a Boston Terrier, they are expensive dogs to buy.

And hard to handle. Maybe the owner let him loose hoping he would run away and the kids forced him to call the shelter. Just looking at it from another angle or some would say the sportsaholic angle
