Offshore sportsbook 5Dimes will freeze its US operations later this month, telling customers it plans to relaunch with a ?fresh start.?
The Costa Rica-based outfit will stop taking bets from US customers at 12 am ET on September 21.

Customers have until September 25 to claim balances. After that date, funds will be transferred to a third-party administrator, who will try and return them to account holders.

This is crazy timing with football coming back. What about any future wagers placed? I have several NFL futures :0corn

Probably get refunded. I would act on it if I was you.

It's real.

Will wait a week as I imagine they are getting pounded by guys trying to get their funds transferred out?live chat is telling me 34 minute wait time.
I?ve got a bunch of futures pending as well. Hope they refund those but won?t be surprised if they don?t.

Draft Kings, etc are making a wave in the market.

There are Legal books here in the homeland, now too, Hawkeye.
Thing is 5dimes offers tons more wagering options on far more sports than do the local ones.
Any book come close to 5dimes in what they offer?

They will allow you to transfer everything, including open pending futures, that will be graded after Sept 25th, to BetAnySports.eu, for no fee. This appears to be a CRIS/Bookmaker situation, with 5Dimes wanting to clear their Books of Any US players, for some kind of US legal option in the future, but still having a US facing operation for their US clients "loosely" related to them.
Was on chat for about 2 hours, getting set up, but ultimately everything got done. It appears BetAnySports is identical to 5Dimes.
Know little about them, other then they are A- graded at SBR. Prior to today, you couldn't have accounts at both, so betanysports was very below the radar. That's about to change, I would imagine. Kind of like Heritage was, before thegreek and BetJamaica closed their US business, and sent US players to Heritage. Hopefully this goes as smoothly.
