Interesting situation here as the Raiders play their second game in three days on the road after ther narrow victory at Brown on Sunday. They come to Akron to face a Zips team off of nine days of rest after defeating Cleveland St at the buzzer on the road.

The Zips will enjoy a big size advantage in this one, and will need to exploit this as their shooting has been simply awful dating back the last 3 or 4 games. In fact I don't believe they have cracked 40% since their first couple of games. Tarver has been spotty at best and Hollingsworth has simply not performed anywhere near the level of play that he exhibited last year. In short the highly regarded guard play of the Zips has not been getting it done.

The Zips have covered only once this year (11 point loss at NC) and will continue to struggle ATS until their guard play reaches expected levels. One of these days the Zips will put it all together and just beat the hell out of somebody, but until they break out of their prolonged shooting slump laying 10 to Wright St. or anybody else is a tall order. Don't get me wrong, this could be the night they break out, but I need to see a little more consistancy before I back the Zips.

no play here for me
