i like wright st in this spot. raiders off big windy city win saturday over loyola-chi and still in conference hunt. after tonight they head back to dayton for a four game homestand and would be well positioned with a win tonight. wright picked it up on the boards vs loyala. rebounding evenly with the conference leaders. other impressive raider road outings include win @ butler , @ cle st and one point loss @ detroit. they are statistically better than the flames across the board and have been in chicago over the weekend so have had plenty of time for practice and rest. ill-chi, a poor rebounding team when at full strength, tonight probably without starting 6' 11 center and have little other height to put on the court. getting a few points seems to be a bonus.

will also make a small play tonight on western carolina. before saturday's win at the citadel, app st was a horrible road team, 0-9 s/u and 1-5 ats. i'm willing to bet the mountaineers can't play well on the road in back-to-back road games 48 hours apart.

gl tonight.

I listened to the 2nd half on radio. Worst color announcer I've ever heard in my life. I've never heard a bigger homer. THIS was a near miracle cover. Wright was down 21 in the second half, then needed major help as UIC totally collapsed. I believe UIC missed 6 or 7 free throws in the final minute. It's amazing they actually held on, but in our world, Wright was right.
