Guys, new here. Lend me a hand? I've never used online for action before. Local here isn't the best at availability, etc. What are some of the top picks among you guys? Been a player for years, maybe I can contribute some here in the future. Certainly hope to learn a little too!

go to the sportsbooks link to the left of the page...there are many to choose from. It all depends on your preferences. There is definately a sportbook to suit you.

Personally, I use WWTS, WSEX, Gameday, and Betmaker.

THISclose,

Once the basketball action settles down, I'll give you some info. This however is the perfect forum for this question, and others like it.

Sneaks,
Appreciate your help when things settle down. Been lurking a bit and think I'd like to get "with" the online crew(action wise and forum participation). Look forward to your input. Like the over on Sea too

Don't know if you guys are watching the Suns but Marbury just threw a pass from hell! WOW! 81-80 Suns-6:40 to go.

JT, have time to lend me a hand? If not, maybe tomorrow?

Don't want to seem like a nuisance(and don't plan on responses tonight for sure)BUT, I'd like to get started with the online thing ASAP tomorrow(today). Any help and insight from you vets with online book experience would be appreciated a lot. Don't want to start a advertising war or anything. Just like to know what's working for who and what to look out for. Thanks a bunch..THISclose

ThisClose, As far as reliability I think Jack monitors all his advertisers pretty closely. Although I have never had any problems personally with any I've used, he seems to step right in and resolve any problems with the offshores as soon as they arrise. Some offer lower or higher limits than others, some are better with props and non-major sports, etc. Just depends on what you like to play. I think all the guys would agree it is good to have accounts at at least two to three shops to be able to take advantage of varied lines. Hope this helps a bit.

Guys,
Thanks for the responses! I'm checking into them now. Still don't know the best(or easiest)ways to transfer money to them. Bear in mind I've been doing a LOT of reading. Some of them "penalize" a bit for CC's? Still don't follow some of the "bonus" offers, but appears one needs to read the fine print. Withdraws(the way I've been playing lately that might not be a issue
smile.gif
)are another thing I'm not sure about. Some say they only can credit your card(assuming you opened account with a card)and the rest will be sent "another way". Not sure what the other ways are but I'm sure there are fees. Just want to have a half assed idea what I'm doing before I pick one(or 2). Need to get one opened up soon.(like yesterday)
Thanks for the welcome too btw. I think I'm gonna love it here. Wish I'd found it sooner! Any other thoughts or things to keep in mind greatly appreciated!..Thanks! THISclose
