Does anyone use wsex's interactives? I have been using it for a couple years now, and have found there are two ways to play:

1) Play for the win. To me, this means play on a lessor know player, or a player not up to form. Usually, these players must be in contention late on sunday to make any money off them. However, if they do pull it off, the payout is big.

2) Play the big names, Tiger, Els, Vijah, and such. These players usually go up just for being within a couple shots of the lead(& it doesnt matter if it only thursday). With these it seems, if you have an idea on who plays well at certain tournaments, you can make a small profit pretty early on in the week.

This year, I am going with a little on the "names" to begin the week, and then looking for a value play on friday or sat.

So far, it has been pretty much a wash,

Lost the mercedes(Vijah couldnt putt:mad: He had 7 three putts)
Sony- down early with Vijah and Goosen. However moves to Els and Frazar on sat. helped.;)

Just trying to get feedback on how others play the interactives, if at all.
Thanks

Since i'm in the US I have very few opportunites to buy and sell during the golf tourney so i'm still learning but I do enjoy to play them when i'm home from work and can watch everything unfold. I dont mess with any of the high priced players. Personally I just look for value near the bottom. I will normally just buy someone then sell back pretty quick to lock in a free bet if i'm anticipating a move. You do bring up some good points about the fav players though. May have to pay closer attention.

It is bout only option we have stateside--however I find their lock out period till telecast starts unexceptable. Wouldn't Euro books love to lock out punters for over half tourney and adjust their lines--

However do fancy their 72 hole match of
Frederik Jacobson +110 over Lehman this week.

This is rare week where I consider no outrights on PGA as best wager. With Singh in high gear and Tiger and Mick occupying 8 of 10 top 5 positions in past 5 years I think it more lucrative to put cheese on other tours this week then try and hit the couple of open spots that appear statisically available for place wager.

Missed that one Stan. Will have a look. Appreciate the heads up.

---By the the way love the new stats you have available and appreciate the early posts on stats. Lets one dig in there on the early lines out before they are decimated.

Absolutely wonderful job on site:thumb:

Dogs and Stan,

I'm 95% certain that TradeSports currently doesn't take American customers.

Have a good week on the links, ol chaps.

You could be right, Stan. Maybe my memory is tricking me. Seems like most the exchanges and Euro books don't accept Americans.

How does Tradesports golf work? Does the market move alot? Can you compare it to Wsex? Do you know of any other trade type books that are open to the U.S.? Sorry to ask so much, I really appreciate all your posts & your site is awesome. I feel honored having you reply in my post: :hail

DTB

I know, I use to love when the market was open all the time, I would watch pga tour live scoring, before it came on tv, and buy the hell outa someone making a run and sell as soon as it came on tv, when they updated the market, for a nice little profit. ;)
But those days are gone. Still, I prefer the market over straight wagers. I like knowing I have options. Maybe if I wasnt such a p^&$%.....

Tradesports does accept US customers but I dont even bother looking anymore. They dont have enough liquidity and they only list about 10 golfers per tourney and a seperate option of 'the field'. It has potential but not worth my time right now.

I'm no expert but isn't the beauty of Tradesports that you can list whatever golfer you want and wait for some one to take it up?
