I see this book is sponsored here, and I want to warn people that wsex has a serious problem with slow-paying, and a problem that apparently has been going on for some time.

To use my own example, I requested a check in mid-March, and it has still not arrived, even after waiting the stated 30 business days. Wsex says it lost a processor, has to redo the checks. If you read around, you will see that slow-paying has become a habit with this book. Payments are routinely dragged out from 2-4 months, some taking even longer.

Wsex limits withdrawals to 3k. If you have a draft check sent by regular mail, it takes 30 business days, 15 business days if you do fedex. Those are ridiculous wait times as it is, but in practice wsex will not meet them anyway.

I do not believe this book has ever stiffed anybody, but there is a general feel about this book that the owners are losing interest. If anybody knows more than I do about what's going on in this shop, let's hear it. At this point, I would be real reluctant to deposit money at wsex if i were a new player. My understanding is there are only a couple books left that will even allow transfers from it.

ive seen same rumours, in the future email Jack your account # and name to address below that he can be of help maybe.

jack@madjacksports.com

i do know it took about 7-10 days for their check to get to jack when he requested it.

he is out of the office at the moment but maybe he can shed some more light on his situation when he gets back.

It's not a rumor in my case, the facts are exactly what I state. I have no reason to believe others (at other forums) are making stuff up because the wsex response they post is the same one I got. Here are two relevant paragraphs from their response to my email (sent about the 33rd business day after w/d request):

The reason why you have not received your check to this date is because recently (1) of our processors closed without notice. The checks that were issued, of which yours was a-part of, had to be stopped.

We have since established a new processor and processing is now in progress. Once we have received an update regarding your drafts an email will be sent to your registered address on file immediately.

I appreciate the offer, IE. I would like to wait one more month and see where things are. I really like the options-style futures/in-action wagering at IE, which is unique. Don't want to stop using them, but need to make sure they really are committed to solving their problems.

I appreciate that. This is the only forum I visit daily, but since no one has mentioned any problems here recently, I started checking around. There are a lot of people elsewhere finding the same thing. Some say the problem goes back to a management change at wsex a couple years ago. I'm not in position to know. Surely there are other people here who use wsex? I hope anyone with direct experience or knowledge will speak up.

Two books on my NEVER AGAIN are:
Bodog and WSEX. :mj16: kurby

They have no problem pulling cash out of your account in mere minutes, yet it takes MONTHS(at best) to get it back to you.

My suggestion is 5Dimes. The customer service on the phone is down right HORRIBLE, but once you get past that then it is the best actual sportsbook to use.

Yeah, i noticed that lol. I'm not saying all i think on this thread, yet.

I use them. They're good, never had a payout problem with them, monday money requests are in your hand by end of week.

Some like wsex for weak lines. All I see is less options and worse splits than other books. If it wasn't for their options-format, I wouldn't use them at all.

I used Wsex for Nascar parlay, but found better.
I gave up on Wsex because customer service was LAST on their list of priorities.
I asked them why then didn't offer non UFC MMA cards and they gave me some lame excuse.
I asked why they were one of the few books who can parlay Nascar yet Boxing/MMA were not allowed.
Again some lame excuse.

Add those with pathetic payout times sent me packing.

If you're looking for good prices and lots of parlays, props, etc, there are much better books to use. Honestly, I don't see why anyone would use them at all, apart from their live betting. They are the only book offering that options-style format. They keep the spread and vary the price; almost all other books that offer a version of live betting are basically offering traditional betting during commercial breaks. Not precisely the same thing. I find the options style a neat and fun way to do interactive/in-game/live betting.

Add those with pathetic payout times sent me packing.

I've watched them pretty heavy over last couple years. There is a sloppiness that, to me, hints they are losing interest. For example, a game will end, they will leave the live line sitting there for hours. Often you click on their live links, and the page is dead. This is just sloppy management by people who aren't really concerned with the customer or getting things right. Combine that with slow paying, it begins to look like a death spiral. I don't want to bad mouth them more than they deserve, but what I describe is pure facts + one daily player's impression of their service. Wsex needs to either rededicate itself or sell out to a competent book. I understand the feds imposed some pressure on moving money, but I expect them to post and live by their words. Can't skate on past reputation forever.

It takes 4-7 biz days to receive a payout from any of the bodog branded sites- bodog.com, bodog.ca, bodog.co.uk and bodog.88. This has been the case for over a year now- if you experience any problems getting your payout, please send me a PM and I'll speak with a senior manager at the Bodog licensee on which you are playing and get some answers for you.

Thank you!
Becky
