with what percentage WTA matches 1st sets stay under 9? ?

Not sure where you'd find that info, pretty much impossible to find that stat unless you went through about 10 thousand matches yourself.

If I had to guess for the roughly 10 thousand WTA Tour singles matches last year I'd say about 40 percent go under 9.5 in the first set.

agree it's kind of hard to find stat, 1st set U9? is heavily favored in odds so i guess U9? happens more often than O9?.

U9? +60% is my guess.
