"the bunker"
http://www.drudgereport.com/flashbol.htm

here i was finally starting to feel somewhat guilty thinking especially poor thoughts in b.o.'s general direction, while he's acting particularly civilized with the bush's....i should have known he wouldn't let me down.....

bush invites him to the wh early(unlike clinton did with bush) to help him become acclimated and include him in the loop to help with a seamless transition...

he puts his trust in "the one"and then "the one"turns around and tries to make bush look bad.....

only 2 people privy to this conversation...

professionalism?...pfft..

like a bunch of gossipy brats, always playing games and looking for new angles....

well guess what, morons, this is the entire country you're playing with now...and hopefully, people are going to get tired of this kind of crap quickly...

too many people voted for this big zero without understanding chicago politics and without understanding the way that democrats/socialists/leftists work....

it all depends on how long the media decides to continue running interference for him...if the media turns,he`s toast...

does he really think other world leaders aren`t watching this and aren`t going to remember this classless betrayal of trust?...

credibility, mr. president....credibility...:nono:

figures you would be posting drudge report crap

you have no clue what your talking about as usual.

no one knows what went on in that meeting.

Just think about how Bush might act towards Obama during that meeting.

Maybe it ends up just being politics. Bush thinks he is so full of advice. If he had good advice he wouldnt be the worst president in history.

dont give up yet weazer .

you will have alot of chances to post dribble like this

NEW YORK (CNN) -- As his presidency nears its end, a reflective President Bush suggested Tuesday that he regrets some of his more blunt statements on the war on terrorism over the last eight years and said he wishes he had not spoken in front of a "Mission Accomplished" banner only a month after U.S. troops in Iraq were deployed.

"I regret saying some things I shouldn't have said," Bush told CNN's Heidi Collins when asked to reflect on his regrets over his two terms as president. "Like 'dead or alive' and 'bring 'em on.' My wife reminded me that, hey, as president of the United States, be careful what you say."

The interview, aboard the USS Intrepid in New York, came after the president addressed a Veterans Day ceremony.

Shortly after the attacks of September 11, the president said of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden: "I want justice. There's an old poster out West that said, 'Wanted, dead or alive.' " Watch President Bush talk about his regrets ?

Bush was also criticized in 2003 for his answer addressing insurgents in Iraq.

"There are some who feel like that the conditions are such that they can attack us there. My answer is, bring 'em on," he said then.

On Tuesday, the president also referenced the moment aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln on May 1, 2003, during which he declared an end to major combat operations in Iraq.

"They had a sign that said 'Mission Accomplished.' It was a sign aimed at the sailors on the ship, but it conveyed a broader knowledge. To some it said, well, Bush thinks the war in Iraq is over, when I didn't think that. But nonetheless, it conveyed the wrong message."

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

he lists these few regrets.

America;s list is much longer.

CHICAGO - The world is waiting for President-elect Barack Obama , and some of its most prominent leaders are flying into the United States this weekend clamoring to meet with him. But they will have to keep on waiting.

The leaders of 19 foreign powers, including Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China, converge on Washington on Friday for an emergency economic summit meeting hosted by President Bush. Although invited, Mr. Obama has opted to stay in Chicago and will not meet any of the leaders separately.

Coming so soon after last week?s election, the summit meeting has proved an uncomfortable moment for the president-elect and an early test of his handling of international diplomacy. Even as aides are still closing his campaign headquarters and just beginning to assemble a governing team, they are fending off interest from foreign governments eager to take the measure of the next president and trying to avoid tying him to the departing administration.

Several Obama advisers, in separate interviews, all used the word ?awkward? to describe the situation. But Robert Gibbs , a senior adviser to Mr. Obama, said: ?While some may say it?s awkward that he?s not there, it would be far more problematic to be there. We firmly believe there is only one president at a time.?

Good Move O

Let President Bush struggle along trying to figure out how to get out of what he got us into.

Bush really just wants to go to Texas , retire , and start writing his books.

he couldnt do anything in 8 yrs, why start now

only 2 people were at the meeting..and it was leaked by obama or his staff....i doubt bush leaked that there was a quid pro quo involved with a potential detroit bailout...

the wh cried foul and obama`s folks were scrambling to set the record straight...

http://www.canberratimes.com.au/new...scounts-suggestions-of-bush-rift/1358226.aspx

not only that, whoever leaked it is a moron...and thats because they leaked a blatant lie that bush used the columbia free trade deal as a quid pro quo for the auto mobile bailout....and then had to backtrack and admit their own leak was bogus...

did they think that the administration would let that blatant lie stand?...

first, those leaks are dishonorable and, maybe worse in a way, they're impractical....what did they hope to accomplish?...

guess what happens when you betray the confidence of the people who speak with you?... they stop being the people who speak with you.....

good move for a president....gettin` off on the good foot..

You make it sd. like the american people dont know where each other stand on the topics.

These topics have already been out in the publics eye for some time now.Tell me something i already dont now.Sds to me your doubt on the bush leak just might be false.garbage to even make this an issue.

Typical conservative smear tactics, that failed during the campain.

""An Obama aide had said on condition of anonymity that the president-elect had raised immediate help for the crippled auto industry during his first visit to the Oval Office, confirming leaks to The New York Times and Washington Post.""

theres no issue as to who leaked...they admitted the leak...and had to set the record straight...

at least they ought to get their facts straight...

and this wasn`t the first time obama betrayed a trust..

http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/11/09/bush-obama-meeting-hard-feelings-hand-sanitier/

real class..

these leaks were deliberate to pressure the current administration on the auto bailout...
which could be the very worst of all these ridiculous bailouts...

why?...because "UNIONS" have made the auto industry unprofitable in the u.s.....the auto makers are sending as much of their operations down south(the ones that aren`t tied up by the union agreements).. to non-union shops ....not to mention the prohibitive additional cost that all these environmental standards place on production...

so we throw more money at the auto makers that are being strangled by union agreements and excessive environmental standards...it just puts off the inevitable... ..this situation can only get worse when you consider we have no checks and balances with a democrat congress and president...

giving auto makers free money doesn`t change that fact...you can`t just keep throwing money at an un-profitable business...unless you do something about the unions and the stultifying environmental regulations and cafe standards.....

you can`t just snap your fingers and retool entire auto plants to conform to ever-changing environmental constrictions..

Cant be worse that the stimulas package ,that had zero effect ,zero effect on the economy.
Actually it was wasted money.

Im against the auto bailout. But to solely blame the union as the main reason for the pressure to pass a bill is a stretch.Im hearing a month until 1 of these companys goes under,so if O wants a package ,the Bush administration must get the ball rolling, but helping working class peolpe instead of the oil industries is against bushs thinking. As far as who leaked it?/WGAF! its old hat weas.
Have you turned on a TV or radio lately.opened a newspaper, your on a cumputer right??Search the wb,for real.

There humans ,dont care what status they hold.
You spin the "UNION" thing like that the major issue behind the auto-bailout.

Its not.The issue is saving the American auto industry AND there WORKERS.Like I said im against it,however,I suppose youd rather see Japan,Korea, and Germany auto makers prosper instead.Sometimes you need to break away from your party lines to make this country suceed ,odviously you never do.

Thats whats been wrong with Washington for the last 8 years.
