i`ve seen more of that the last 2 seasons than i can ever recall....i think it was michigan and carr throwing the ball late in a game after the other coach had "the gall" to call a timeout...and he almost got his qb hospitalized....
then,last year...or the year before,oklahoma or texas was throwing late when they were up several td`s on kansas and needed a score to cover.....

if its 4th/1, thats different. going for it to accelerate the clock is different. move the chains and keep the time running. and i certainly dont see anything wrong with tressel going for it on 4th/1 later in that drive. but 4th/6? with ginn still in there? and youre throwing the ball? a head scratcher.
Do they ever question these coaches at news conferences about their motives for doing these suspicious plays?
