OK,
so i just got some letter in the mail from Wynn in vegas telling me I get THREE free nights in one of their Resort Rooms plus $100 credit in the casino.

I look at the website, I know its a nice place and all.

This has to be used before 10 April.

Plane tickets for me and the wife will be $200 , could be up to $250 per person.

I have no idea how I got this offer. All I can think of is that they got my name off the list at Potowotami here in Milwaukee cuz i play the nickel slots waiting for the poker seat to open up every time.

Been logging some long hours and nice wins and ended up playing the dollar slots the last few times to kill time. Maybe they think I am a baller?

Anyway,

Is it worth it?
I'll end up burning 2 days off work and $400 in transportation to get there and back. Figure another $500 in expenses for me and the wife.

Is the Wynn that nice?

The Wynn is fantastic. I stayed there August 2005 and had a great time. Everything was top shelf, and I had a really nice time. Great service etc.

BUT, I stayed in an exectuive suite (or some such thing,I didn't pay for the room otherwise I wouldn't have afforded it), and I've heard the standard rooms are just ok. Still realllly nice in comparison to other hotels I'm sure.

Plus you said free! :)

The whole place just feels luxurious through and through. The casino itself doesn't "impress" per se, because really I think Wynn went for under-stated elegance with this property.

I still go in for a drink at one of their bars everytime I've been back to Vegas.

just booked it for easter weekend.

they were really nice. and VERY CLEAR that this was not a timeshare of any sort. There is zero requirement to attend anything.

They are promoting their new all in one players card - players card is linked right into your room key so no more fumbling with multiple cards.

it is not a timeshare/resort gig.

rethink it handicapper.

DAM nice poker room! Fuzzy brown seats you could sit in for 12 hours no problem, plus the best buffet in Vegas IMO.

Enjoy!

oooooooooooooo sounds good!
I do 14-18 hour session at potowatomi up here and my @ss pretty much goes numb at the 6 hour mark. I'd rather just kneel at the table than sit in those chairs.

You'll love that place. Don't forget to talk a walk down the street and play in the Venetian poker room. The Wynn and the Venetian are two of my favorites.

Have fun!

On the course!
Go for it!

I just got back from Milwaukee. Holy shit, was it some tough sledding!

Down there for the State bowling tourny this weekend. The weather kept us from going to the casino....
