Anyone been to the Wynn sportsbook recently ? just curious if they do the drink ticket thing there, and if so do they dole them out more freely if you are playing the horses.

found this thru different internet resources....

full service betting windows will hand out drink tickets with a minimum wager of $100 and the wait staff will be more than happy to help you out.

That ticket price is very steep but the sports betting tellers are pretty flexible and will often slip you an extra drink ticket if they see you are spending time at the sports book. The wait staff is always eager to get you a drink quick when needed.

The First State
Visited location last year during NCAA Basketball tourney for the Friday set. Friend of mine has a brother writing tickets there and was invited to visit. As luck has it his brother is off and the Manager was approached to get a couple seats to watch the games. Was a real snarky prick and said he needed all left over seats for VIPS. Asked him for drink service he came back with 4 drink tickets for the two of us. Now I know 6 dimes of action is no big deal but it wouldn't have killed him to at the very least be civil. Short story is we sat at the bar played video poker some and hit both wagers and left back to GVR. Not a bad days pay, needless to say I will not return. Incidentally, the few drink girls we saw were very friendly and helpful
(Had to get OK from SB Manager to get down 3 dimes on 2 different games...1 side + 1 total) this I was told is not an uncommon practice. My buddy got a card and to this day gets emails from location.
