My XFL LOCK OF THE YEAR:

HOGAN/MACHO MAN/ANDRE THE GIANT -3

VS.

MR FUJI/IRON SHEIK/JUNKYARD DOG(THUMP)

The Macho Man will run for at least 200 yards with Andre as their whole offensive line. The only thing that can stop this team this year is the beautiful Elizabeth meddling with these boys minds!!!

Let's not forget AWA.. Ken Patera, Mr. Saito!

I think the Superfly Super Snuka? Can be at WR with his high air acrobatics.

For our coach we need...Jake the "Milkman" Middleman!

So many wrestlers, the Gagne's, Larry "the AX" Henning.

Let's not forget the GA wrestlers, with the likes of Mr Wrestling #1 and #2, Tommy "Wildfire" Rich

or the

Texas Wrestling Headed by:

The Von Erich's, the Missing Link...etc.

Remember back then we were all closet wrestling watcher's, now everybody watches the stuff! Cool!

What about Nick Bockwinkel for the commisioner role!

Remember the name of Jim Brunzel's second tag team team. The Killer Bees and they even wore yellow shorts with black stripes! Say it ain't so!

I don't know about you guys but, I'm more excited about the WOW bikini contest than the XFL. By the way, Thug would be on my d-line, what an ugly woman.

B Brian Blair and jumpin jim brunzell... da killa beeeeeeeeez! used to love watchin them guys.

But who remembers "The Crusher"?
Any of you want to see what wrestling can do to someone's body.... wow. My wife is a massage therapist and worked on him at the Chiropractir's office one day..... this guy's body went to crap after all the bumps and falls he took. Poor guy cant even stand straight up anymore. Some of these current wrestlers.. like oh say... Mankind. They are gonna be HURTING in a few more years.

All of us Midwestern kids of a certain age---- at least 33 or so--- remember the AWA. Filmed in Minneapolis in front of a live, studio audience. The "Crusher" huh?? what about his tag-team partner-- "The Bruiser"

Bobby "the brain" Henan getting chased around the ring by Nick Bonkwinkle..funny chit.
My all-time favorite wrestler from that time period.. The Big Chief.... Wahoo McDaniel... used to wear that HUGE headress with feathers falling out of it all over the place. And "The Claw" was always good for a laugh. Fun stuff when your 8,9 11 years old........

I am glad to see so many of you remembering the old time wrestlers. I have been involved in pro wrestling here in Wisconsin and Minnesota for several years. As a matter of fact, I am doing a show tomorrow with Ken Patera. We have worked together for several years. I run a golf tournament every year, a 3 man event, and I had a team of myself, Patera, and Jumpin' Jim Brunzell. We had a great time. Also just got done working with Mad Dog Vachon, a great guy. He is doing great, along with his brother The Butcher. The Barron Van Rascke is also doing great. He and his wife Bonny were at my bar recently. Very nice people. Also have worked recently with Honky Tonk Man, King Kong Bundy, Rock & Roll Zumhoff, The Shiek, and the Bushwhackers. All very nice people. These people made wrestling what it is today.
