XFL, The way I see it, April 7-8

A profitable 9-5 the last 4 weeks.

Well, here it is, balls-to-the-wall and garbage time all wrapped up into one. These are the last regular season games in the XFL's inaugural season. As with the NFL, it's always prudent to tread carefully in the last week. Who needs the game, who shows up, who's clinched, who is just playing out the string, or does any of it matter at all? On and on it goes....

Week 10:

* Mem at LV- Under 35.5: Still like that LV "D".

* SF +6.5 (at LA): Too many points to give. SF with the better "D", LA better on "O", cancels out any blowout. I'm expecting a close, hard fought effort on both sides for the division title. The spread should be closer to a FG than the TD.5 here.

* Orl at Chic-Over 37.5: Not much "D" on either side. I only wonder how motivated Orl will be to score in this one since their division title is all locked up. Chic needs the win to stay in the playoff hunt.

* NY/NJ -2 (at Birm): Back on the horse that threw me last week. Battling Chic for the last playoff spot. Wondering if Birm blew their load last week....

By the way, one addendum to my picks this week. Just after I posted my XFL Week 10 picks here, I went to put in the Orl/Chic Over 37 wager. Much to my surprise, that total had jumped 2 points, up to 39, in just under a day. I still think it'll go over, but since I liked the O-37 so much better, I decided to tease it down to 33 with SF to +12.5
