Halves were good BUT yup/yup you know that usually I play the entire game for more amounts. As to why I bet the 2nd half over, it was a hedge. It was a mistake. That's all. I was disappointed as well, but I have to stick to my systems. I personally thought 75 was way to high of a number and it NEVER moved. The line in my opinion had Over written all over it, but guess not.
As to why not the Minny-TT Under for the game just the half? I do apologize on that one.
Yeah no baseball tonight. Like I said, Im not gonna play bases for about two weeks. I'll still post the info though.
Sides went 2-1 in bases but all my unders got smoked by overs again. It is amazing right now how almost every game is going over. As a matter of fact, the Overs are hitting at 74%!!!That is astonishing. Yes, baseball is only 4 days old and once basketball ends and the volume comes in for baseball, the games will get much much more difficult to win. The Unders will start coming in. Who knows when.
But, these overs are a nightmare to sportsbooks and bookmakers. I just can't see anyone betting Unders in the near future and locals have to be nervous. The sportsbooks don't get hurt cause they have endless capital, but locals will get really hurt if this trend continues.
These totals are going over way to easily.
But, in the last 9 years baseball has emphasized on scoring and offense. That's ALL theyve emphasized on and theyve been successful. Whether its the smaller new ball parks, the possibility of juiced balls, the dilution with expansion teams, or even drug use such as steroids that go untested; one still has to give credit to the better offensive minds from these managers.
The line experts in football say the average over/under lines have been increased by almost two points in the last 5 years because of one factor- The WEST COAST OFFENSE. In baseball the equivalant of the west coast offense has been the "Dusty Baker plan"...I think he has innovated the game like the West coast offense in football, and many managers are copying the Dusty Baker approach to the game. Baseball managers and teams are taking so many angles to manufacture runs and defenses are having problems. Its about manufacturing runs and teams are doing it well.
Take a bad team like Tampa. In the past you could beat bad teams like this by out pitching them, but even a team like Tampa can score and you actually have to out slug them like Boston had to do. Is Atlanta Brave baseball dying by dominating pitching and defense? Absolutely not. Come playoff time, its STILL pitching and bul pens that win rings. But, in the regular season; it seems the art of manufacturing runs has earned its place.
But, defense will be back in full gear. Yankees look great on both sides of the plate. That's baseball. The Twins deserve compliments as well and I was impressed with the Indians as well.
As for the rest of the league, it honestly looks like wiffle ball or tee ball. They're making OUTS look impossible. Sounds like I'm whining over all these OVERS hitting. Well, I am. And Im a huge baseball fan, and right now I'm disgusted by the way these games are being played. But, the defenses WILL be back.
Of course, these are just my opinions. No need to bash, these are just my opinions. But, baseball will be great to watch this year, and its going to be very interesting to see how these teams are going to adapt. GLTA
