I noticed that a lot of people use this website for fantasy golf help, so I'd thought I'd post my picks each week and see what people think. I don't know that much about golf, but I have a good basis knowledge. Any thoughts?
Group A:
Tiger Woods - Can't go wrong with Tiger. I think
he'll win, and he's got the early tee time on Thursday
also, so another plus.
Ernie Els - The Big Easy should be top 10 this week.
Group B:
Pradraig Harrington - He came in 2nd last week, and I
think he's got the game to be very solid this week. I
think top 3 finish, but should at least be top 15 this
week for sure.
Stephen Ames - He had a bad week last week, but before
that, he was on fire, and I think he could actually
challenge for the win. He's great in all the
categories needed for the U.S. Open, scrambling, GIR,
so I think he'll come in the top 3 for sure. Just a
hunch though.
Jay Haas - He's a great short hitter, and I don't
think you need a really long hit at the US Open.
Though he's really old, so he might tire, but I think
he'll be solid this week.
Scott Verplank - Personally, I don't think he'll do
that good this week, but I think you have to keep him
in the lineup, just in case. He's got everything you
need to win, but I don't know if I'm the only one that
noticed this, but it seems like everytime you think he
should do good, he doesn't do good. But I'm playing
it safe and keeping him in.
Group C:
Justin Rose - He did good at the masters up until the
weekend, and I think he'll start off hot again. I'd
probably switch him over the weekend, when he'll
probably fall apart.
Jerry Kelly - It's windy at the US Open, and Kelly
plays great in bad weather. I'm gonna use him over
the weekend.
