Yahoo! help? KMA?

A friend is having trouble loading yahoo! pages, fantasy sports, etc. He can get to the main page, and after clicking on a link gets the dreaded "this page can not be loaded." Said he d/led netscape also, and when he goes to those pages it says "this page contains no data"

I saw a rep on TV this week from Yahoo reporting that they are drastically upgrading their service, and increasing everyone's email storage to 100MB this week. Maybe something went wrong in their upgrade procedure?

I have a Yahoo.ca (not .com) email address and it appears everything is still working fine here.

have him do a search on his system for a file called hosts*.*

Tell him to right click on it and open with notepad

Make sure there are no references to yahoo in this file and make sure you view the whole page, I worked on a pc yesterday that had this problem.

It migh tlook like this

fantasysports.yahoo.com 127.0.0.1

Delete that line and save it

Reboot your pc and try again
