Toronto Blue Jays ace Roy Halladay goes for his 13th straight win this afternoon when he faces the only team that has beaten him this season.

The All-Star's last loss came April 15 against Mike Mussina and the New York Yankees but he looks to get some revenge at home today and continue his incredible run.

Halladay is unbeaten in his last sixteen outings and overall this season is 12-2 with a 3.48 ERA. In his last appearance the 26 year-old right-hander allowed just one run on four hits over nine innings of work against the Red Sox. Today will be his second time this season on three days rest and on the previous occasion he pitched eight strong innings against the Expos, allowing just four hits and no earned runs while fanning six and not issuing a walk. In 15 career appearances including 13 starts against the Yankees Halladay is 4-3 with a 3.90 ERA.

The Blue Jays are 48-45 (.516) overall to be third in the AL East.

The Yankees won Game one of this three-game set and lead the AL East at 56-35 (.615).

Mike Mussina (10-5, 3.14 ERA) pitched eight innings against the Boston Red Sox Monday and didn't figure in the decision despite allowing just one earned run. Mussina has been excellent on the road this season but lifetime and the SkyDome he is just 6-6 with a 3.77 ERA.

The home team is 6-1 in umpire Guccione's last seven games behind home plate.

We'll go with red-hot Halladay as a home dog.
