Roger Clemens goes for win number 301 tonight as the New York Yankees open a four-game series with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays at Tropicana Field.

The Yankees have won four straight and eight of their last nine games overall to 44-29. They lead Toronto in the AL East by two games.

Clemens tossed eight scoreless frames against these Devil Rays in his last outing Wednesday but failed to earn a decision. He allowed just one hit, struck out nine and walked two. Clemens is 1-0 with a 2.05 ERA in three starts against Tampa Bay this year and in 17 career starts versus the D-Rays he is 9-3 with a 3.19 ERA. A win tonight would give Clemens at least
10 wins against every American League team other than the Boston Red Sox.

The Devil Rays have dropped five straight games and have scored a measly five runs total during this stretch.

Victor Zambrano (3-4, 3.89) tonight faces Clemens for the fourth time this season. In his last outing the right-hander failed to earn a decision against the Yankees Wednesday despite allowing just one hit in eight scoreless frames. Zambrano is 0-1 in three starts against New York this season despite posting a 2.33 ERA. In 14 career appearances including five starts against the Yankees he is 1-2 with a 3.77 ERA.

Clemens last three starts have played under and the Yankees are 8-4 Under their last 12 road games. Zambrano's last six starts have all gone Under as have the Devil Rays last four overall.

We're expecting another great pitching duel tonight and recommend the Under.
