Basically this year in the NFL, the way to make money is simply to play almost exclusively dogs. The reason is parity. There are so many pathetic players in this league due to expansion. All pro sports should think about contraction, poor play and overpaid, baby athletes who don't work hard and take everything for granted. For the most part, playing dogs in the way to go. However, tonight ... I think the Rams who along with the Raiders are far superior to anyone else in the league are the way to go. The Bucs pretty much stink and are average like most other teams. The Rams are NOT. Though I am an Eagles fan, I hope for a Rams/Raiders Superbowl just so I can see two talented teams battle for once.

Nittany 17 you are off base. The reason parity exists is the fact that all teams are relatively decent. Even the 0-10 lions or the 1-9 Bills could beat a division leader on any given Sunday.You can't base bets on a team's record, but if you want to win more you have to pay close attention to the direction a team's heading in. The Bucs for instance were very confident before kick off yesterday, while the Rams were less focused because of their content with an 8-1 record.
