I know Stan, DTB and others keep a record of their results - and I am quite slack - the reason being is that I don't bet to level stakes and vary a lot depending on outright prices or strength of bet etc
Anyhow I have gone back over the year so far (mainly for my own curiosity) and worked out returns based on 1 point e/w on every selection

No of selections (all tours) = 129 = 258 points staked
Returns = 361points
Profit = 103 points

72 hole match bets
34 out of 58 = 58.6% = somewhat disappointing mainly due to a piss poor start to the season which went 1/9

The point of keeping a record Ian, is that you include everything.
You forgot that dog of a selection you gave me for Bay Hill...
Arnold Palmer 1000/1 with Surrey, a certainty you said.
You're a big disappointment!!

I do believe that was your suggestion Clive

One thing I will add is that myself and Stan are in the fortunate position of having a large number of books at our disposal - it is probably still possible to back our suggestions at your books and make a loss, + miss a week and you could miss that big winner that makes the figures look so attractive

Ian/Stan/DTB,

I have been following this forum closely all year and throwing in the occasional post if I think it is worthwhile. I may not necessarily always back the same matchups (due to the limited number of books I use), but using the information you provide and a little bit of my own knowledge, I am well up on golf betting for the year.

Keep up the great work guys !!!!

Yeah, perhaps one thing it is useful being a pommie for, or at least being around there

is golf betting with all those bookies. Still be hard to trim 103 to negative currently I think, barring getting 200/1 winners when 80/1 rest of world?
