Line was -9 at many places.

Grizzlies up 9 with the ball after 2 made free throws by Gary Payton. It should just be a dribble it out scenario.

NOPE.

Lakers play intense defense, knocking the ball out of bounds with about 8.5 seconds to go. Grizzlies just need to inbound the ball. Good ol' Jason Williams throws the ball to the Lakers, who come down and make a 3 to cover.

Nicely done.

This is BS at the end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I believe there is no fixed games in NBA or other sports (As long as there are big $$ involved).... I must be an idiot!! Believe me there are many games are fixed to screw people up.

Jason Williams needs to go sit in the corner and wiggle his toes after that little stunt. Thats why I hate betting on basketball. Sometimes doesn't matter what the line is. One team may come out of the gate on a 8-0 run and it's almost as if the line is doubled, or in some cases trippled. I usually play those 8-point teaser 3 teamers.
Imagine how hard it would be to predict victorys if instead of men the NBA featured spiders.

Okay let's forget the fishy thoughts for a minute and try a reasonable look at the game last night...

first off I guess everyone screaming fix had memphis last night, and you never hear a peep from these same guys who get wins like this instead it is great calls by them or nice playing...so break it down time:

Common knowledge that Phil often plays the young guys late to try and get some energy and they play to the buzzer and always have so the agressive play late regardless of the score has been there......

Jason Williams making a bad pass fishy??? This crackhead has been making bad passes since he stepped on the floor in Florida..

and the last minute three?? The team was down by a bunch and the only shot to take was the three and memphis played no defense because they were UP BY A BUNCH of points....

there was nothing fishy about this game it was just a tough bad beat....

if this game was fishy why weren't these games???

Milwaukee losing entire game and then they come back to win and cover???? Fix....

Knicks up by a ton in the first but can't cover fix....

gimme a break people.....

I never claimed fix...however, nba teams down 9 with a few seconds left on the clock dont apply full court pressure...regardless of subs or starters...there seems to be an "unwritten rule" that they mutually simply let the clock run out...

There is no unwritten rule and that again is another piss poor excuse for someone crying over spilt milk...

young guys always play hard off the bench...what about all those fan favorites that finally get some playing time in a blowout game and they put up three's to score points and the crowd loves it, is that an exception to the "unwritten rule"? No in actuallity it is just a young player trying to make his mark, by ummm.....creating a turnover...or ummmm making a three? Oh yeah they both happened in this game.....

So your saying that rookie's don't try to impress when they get playing time regardless of the score or the outcome of the games?

Keep betting NBA junior, the books love guys like you....no rookies come in at mop up time and they go through the motions and just look to get the game over with...sheesh...stop typing with your :moon:

no wonder you a junior, listen you would probably save yourself some sleepless nights if you just say..." I lost" and tomorrow I can win, people like you they reaaly do.....
