I think it's fine to change things up after a long period of time goes by.

I would love to see a white person on the Cream O Wheat box, Uncle Ben's rice box, and Aunt Jomama pancakes.

Obama may end up on currency someday, you never know. We do know, however, Beantownjim will not.
I don't know what it is about progression that bothers people so. I couldn't care less what picture is on a bill. Won't have any effect on my life.
