Your opinion on the following 3 movies

Bullit, way underrated movie that is remembered (and known) because of that (actually pretty shitty) car chase. Way more interesting is how this movie shows accepted racial / chauvinist behavior from authorities of that time. Also it shows "class society" where people are classified by what they do for living, cops, politicians, artists etc: yes sir, no sir etc, kind of inbuilt fear of authority.

JFK, haven't seen this for a while, need to watch it at some point. Could have been better with other than Costner in leading role, supporting cast was excellent.
Haven't seen Spotlight.

Bullit car chase was awesome......by 1968 standards. It was Ford vs. MOPAR and fans of both loved it....mostly.
yes, ok, shitty was too strong here. it wasn't cut well and they pass same cars several times and in the final scene Charger misses that exploding fuel station by tens of meters... but you are right, by 1968 standards, as it should be looked, it was great.
There is a car page that explains all modifications made to these cars. If i remember correctly Mustang was modified a lot to keep up with Charger that had some modifications in its rear suspension.
