Damn, when I think back to my little league team this is pretty spot on. I played CF and I was probably the fastest on the team. I did also play catcher when the lefty was pitching because our regular catcher had trouble catching him. I certainly wasn't the toughest on the team, though.

I can't stop laughing. Too spot on! I played CF and couldn't hit. I'm not certain I was the fastest kid though. But our teams pitcher was the coach's son, the 2 fattest kids played RF, the quietest and nicest kid definitely played SS, and the talest kid played 1B :mj07:

On the lower level leagues itseemed like a lot of teams had the best player at SS and the best player who was a year younger in CF. The next year he'd move to shortstop....I 've seen one of these on men's softball teams before also

If coaches' sons had no arm they are 2nd basemen :0008

and in Japan the 6 year olds are already taking 100 ground balls and 100 cuts a day..

not counting the 1 hour baserunning drills and 30 minute daily exercise class.
