Nothing good to report the last couple days. Lost about 1000 but still ahead. Golf getting better. Heading to Palm Springs shortly.

Are the courses all nice out there? Looks like it....i suppose you dont travel to putt on the shit greens but man they all seem to be amazing layouts

I will tell my story when I get back home, but the Quarry in Palm Springs is only second to Augusta National as far as course upkeep goes. Simply amazing.
You don't want to play golf in Vegas in the summer. 100+ degrees every day and no clouds makes for a very uncomfortable round of golf. Go in late October so you can bet football and miss the scorching heat of the summer

Trip is over. At the airport now. Grateful to have had a good first wekk, as the last week tore my ass up. Came home with a little less than I brought. Normally I would be happy, but I was up almost 6000.
Yeah, but you live there. I don't care what part of the country you are from if you haven't experienced desert heat in the summertime it will be unbearable for you for a few days. If he's going to be out there for a week and spends some time in the sun and the heat before spending 4+ hours in it golfing, he should be fine. But getting off a plane and heading out the next day to play golf when its that hot doesn't sound like my idea of a good time.
I live in Houston, which is a wet heat...but 100 degrees playing golf in the summer, hell no. I would figure its the same in Vegas, I've been there when it's 120 and no way I'm headed to the golf course
