Harang has beaten Zambrano head to head 5 times in the last seven times they've faced each other. He lost once and had one no decision.

Zambrano is a worse head case on the road than at home and may be the least stable pitcher in the majors when anything goes wrong. The first error behind him or a misplaced pitch hit out of the park can make for a five run inning.

Both Harang and Carlos have first game ERAs that might not last the full season--5.4 and 54.0 respectively and Harang continues his 1-11 record for his last 17 games as a starter.

A chance to go against Zambrano on the road always looks like a nice piece of candy to me but Harang's poor form makes me hesitate. But only a little.

The best plays are the overs: first five over 4' counting on one or both starters to implode and the game over of 8' counting on these implosions and the Cubbies' bad pen. The bullpen has given up 12 hits, 14 runs and 10 walks in 14 innings for WHIP of seven million and an ERA of . . . who cares.

Plays:

The above overs at -110 and the Reds for first five -115 and game pk for one unit each.
